The Dissensus report
A measured read of whether your leaders and the layer below them agree on what matters most, with the first move to make where they do not.
Two layers
Your leadership team and the people who report to them.
Eight cards
One report, read through with you in a one-hour readout.
Everything in the £5,000
The survey
Your leadership team, about 20 minutes each. The layer below, about 12. Everyone weights the same criteria, pair by pair, so the result is a comparison, not an opinion poll.
Two interviews
Two interviews of up to 30 minutes each, held separately with the CEO and one leader the CEO nominates, during the survey weeks. Used to check what the numbers show, never quoted without the interviewee's agreement. You book them from a link we send you.
The Dissensus report: eight cards
Your Executive Dissensus Index — how far your leaders sit from each other, measured first, as the baseline — and your Congruence Index, a 0–100 alignment score for the layer below against that baseline, where higher is more aligned. The criteria carrying the widest gap, and where those gaps land in the business.
A one-hour readout
With the founder, on the eight cards.
The eight cards
About three hours of your leadership's time in total
Your company profile and who to invite
Once the order form is signed: a short company profile, then the work emails of your leaders and the layer below. We send the invitations and chase.
The survey and the two interviews
Usually two weeks of survey; longer only if we are waiting for enough replies. The two interviews, held separately and up to 30 minutes each, happen inside the same window. We chase replies; you see the response count, never who said what.
The report and the readout
The eight cards, then a one-hour readout with the founder.
What one of the eight cards looks like
What to do: three actions
Three actions, each with an owner to agree and a measure to show it is working, tracked in the layer below.
- Land Cost Leadership. For example, one commercial-controls standard. Owner to agree at the readout.
Leading · weeklyJobs priced through the standard approval routeLagging · monthlyGross margin
- Standardise what the top team reads. One set of measures at one rhythm for every executive, each tied to an area of misalignment.
- Make the work traceable. The measures for each area, tracked in the layer below.
Each area needs an owner and initiatives agreed with you; the examples show where to start.
Leadership teams of companies with up to 2,000 people
You will need at least three people in your leadership team and at least five people invited in the layer below. Smaller than that? Book a call and we will tell you what is worth doing at your size.
Your next step, if you want one: two routes
The Congruence Map
Best when you need the whole picture before you act.
- The whole company, by unit, function and level, against your own question.
- The same instrument across the whole company, segmented, with a dashboard and recommended KPIs, and a re-survey at month six to show what has moved.
- The £5,000 is credited in full against it if you sign an order for it within twelve months of your readout.
The workshop route
A 12-week programme, best when you have one decision to make well, such as where to invest in AI.
- Two facilitated sessions three weeks apart on one decision, costed with a stop point agreed in advance.
- Checks in weeks 1, 4 and 6; go, change or stop in week 9.
- A re-survey in weeks 10 to 11 and the results in week 12, so you see whether the gap closed.
What the £5,000 does not include: benchmarks against other companies, connecting your KPIs, tracking over time and re-surveys. The Congruence Map includes one re-survey at month six; ongoing tracking and further re-surveys are the Congruence Monitor subscription.
Before you buy
Who sees our answers?
Nobody at your company sees an individual's answers, including the CEO. Congruent sees them so we can chase and compute. Everything reported is at group level.
How small can a group be?
Your leadership team needs at least three people who reply, and the layer below at least five. Below either, no report is produced. This is why we check your numbers with you on the call, before you sign.
What if not enough people reply?
We tell you who is short, you can invite more colleagues, and we keep the survey open until there are enough: at least three of your leadership team and five in the layer below. The report only runs once it can be read properly.
How long does it take?
Usually two weeks of survey, then your readout; longer only if we are waiting for enough replies. The two interviews sit inside the survey weeks, and we agree the readout date with you when the report is nearly ready. About three hours of your leadership's time in total.
What was the security review, exactly?
The test was run against a dedicated pre-production environment built from production-identical migrations with synthetic data, so no live client data was ever in front of a third-party tester; the fixes reached production on 13 August 2026. Five findings were raised, all remediated, none outstanding, and 108 of 108 applicable checklist checks passed.
What if the result is uncomfortable?
Then you have learned it in a private readout rather than at the end of the year in public. The report says where the gap is; it does not say who is wrong.
How do I buy?
Book a call; we send a one-page order form to sign, and the invoice.
What is the £5,000 credited against?
The full £5,000 is credited against a Congruence Map or against the first year of a Congruence Monitor subscription, if you sign an order for either within twelve months of your readout. The credit is not cash, cannot be transferred to another company, and lapses if it is not used.
What happens after I sign?
Within one working day of the order form being signed, one email with a link to onboarding — a short company profile, a page to enter the work emails of the people you want invited (we send the invitations ourselves, from Congruent) and a link to book your two interviews. We agree the readout date with you when the report is nearly ready.
Is this AI?
The numbers are not. Every figure is computed by a deterministic method, Fuzzy AHP (1985), and the same answers always give the same number. A language model helps draft the written analysis around those figures; it never creates or changes a number, and a person reviews and signs off every report before you see it.
