Congruent
Strategy creates the plan. Alignment creates the return.

Find out whether your leaders and their teams are pulling in the same direction.

The Dissensus report: a measured read of whether your leaders and the layer below them agree on what matters most. Usually two weeks, then a one-hour readout.

The problem

You have a plan. You cannot tell why it is not landing.

And the average company realises about 63% of the value its strategy promised. Mankins and Steele, Harvard Business Review, 2005.

The villain is not your team. It is decisions made on an agreement nobody measured.

Why us

We have sat in the leadership meeting where everyone nodded and nothing moved.

Everyone in your business is making decisions inside their own set of priorities. Congruent shows you each set, side by side, where they pull apart, and where your first move pays most.

Tarquin Daftari Clarke
Founder
My first degree paired mathematics with sociology: one taught me to trust what the numbers say, the other that organisations are made of people. Since then I have guided strategy from the board as a non-executive director, advised a growing creative business, and built a football club in Zambia from nothing. Each taught the same lesson: progress stalls when people quietly disagree on what matters most.
A practitioner's method. Tarquin Daftari Clarke founded Congruent after a decade building the risk models banks rely on. The Congruence Index rests on Fuzzy AHP — Buckley, 1985 — a published, peer-reviewed method. The same answers always give the same number.
Already applied. The underlying method has been applied in credit-risk consulting, and with a UK property-services group, our founding partner.
How it works

See the priorities. Find the gaps. Move where it pays.

Step 1

See the priorities

Tell us who leads and who reports to them. Once the order form is signed, you enter their work emails and we send the invitations. Usually two weeks of survey; your two interviews sit inside them.

Step 2

Find the gaps

Everyone weights the same criteria. The engine computes the distances — the same answers always give the same number.

Step 3

Move where it pays

Where the gap is widest, on the assumptions shown.

The readout gives you the criteria carrying the widest gap and where they land in the business. The rest is yours.

What is at stake

From a leader who assumes alignment and hopes, to one who measures it and knows.

If it is not measured

Profitability may stall, and the person held to account is often the one who wrote the plan, not because the strategy was wrong, but because the people were executing a different one.

When it is

You see it instead of sensing it: one score the board can test, the few places your leaders and the layer below disagree, and three priorities everyone works on next quarter.

Trust

Confidential, not anonymous.

Nobody sees a named answer

We know who replied, so reminders reach the right people. Nobody at your company sees an individual's answers — including the CEO.

Your company owns its data

The report and the results are yours to keep.

Your data, your baseline

Your report's group results, never an individual's answers, are kept for twelve months so a Congruence Map can measure from them. Everything that identifies a participant is deleted sixty days after your readout, or after the survey closes if no readout is held within sixty days.

Independently security-reviewed

Tested by EJN Labs, an independent CREST member firm, in August 2026, with every finding remediated and verified on retest.
